Now, it is our birthright as a human to love all creatures alike. But sometimes, even in the midst of sheer lovability of our pets and the numbed responses to the stray creatures, we are bound to notice that sense of informed inactivity and a broken sense of animal welfare. Here is where the animal welfare organizations step in, where we seem to notice a more or less organized approach to the aforementioned motto in turn. Following is a listing of the animal welfare organizations that are centered in the urban corners of Delhi:
- Friendicoes SECA
Having started in 1979, it houses both clinical and shelter facilities for animals. Here, even the treatment for the household pets has its due charges, the treatment for strays is not charged at all. They actually support adoption of strays rather than buying specific breed pups from pet stores.
