Metro Mirchi – The Perfect Family Restaurant

Metro Mirchi, located on Pusa Road, is the perfect place to visit, with your family. A very reasonably priced pure vegetarian restaurant; it offers Mughlai, South Indian and Chinese Cuisines. Interiors have been done up in the desi style with plastic chairs and tables, along with two-three sofas. Home delivery is available within a radius of 3kms. They also offer a special monthly package only for students. Many women gather here for their kitty parties, since it is really affordable.

You can begin your meal with something chatpata from the Chaat section. The Raj Kachori and Dahi Bhalla are prepared without the use of onion and garlic, which is very much liked by the people who are strict vegetarians. You can also enjoy the street foods like Matar Kulcha, Pao Bhaji, Aloo Tikki and Chhole Bhature. The Aloo Tikki and Dahi Bhalla are ordered the most by the regular visitors. If you visit MM in the evening time, you could go for some snacks from the Tandoori Selection or Sandwiches and Burgers. The Veg. Seekh Kebab and Hara Bhara Kebab are the best of the lot.

Since you have ample options for main course, it gets slightly difficult to decide. The Special Thali is a good option to avoid any confusion and it is more than sufficient for 2 people. It is the North Indian Thali comprising of Makhni Dal, Paneer Gravy, Mix Veg., Dahi Pakori, assorted breads, rice, pickle, salad, papad and one sweet dish. The quantity and quality are outstanding and a real value for money.

 

The fact which makes Metro Mirchi stand out from among other restaurants which have a similar menu is its affordability, quick service and humble staff. The portions served are abundant and the food is nicely prepared. You can’t ask for more at this price!
